FAQ

Q. How do you calculate translation fees?

A. Translation fees are usually determined by word count. However, I charge a flat rate for a standard-length certificate (e.g. Identification Certificate, Certificate of Marriage Relation) or piece of identification (e.g. Driver's Licence, Resident Registration Card). If you have a document to translate, please send a scanned copy to my email (ginabyuntrans@gmail.com). I will review it and send you a quote. Please note that I need to see the document in full in order to give you a quote.

Since a copy of the original document is included in the final translation package, make sure the scanned copy of your document is of the best quality possible (No smartphone-taken photos please).

Q. When can I receive my translation?

A. The turnaround time usually depends on the length, volume and complexity of the document to be translated. For one standard-length certificate (e.g. Identification Certificate, Certificate of Marriage Relation), it would take 1 business day to prepare the final translation package. But please note that depending on my workload, it may take longer than usual.
