Translation fees are generally calculated based on word count and complexity. However, I charge a flat rate ($40+tax) for ONE standard-length certificate (Basic, Marriage and Family Relations) or identification (driver's licence, etc.). Discounts are available if you request four (4) or more certificates at once for your family. For any other document(s), custom quote applies based on word count and complexity of the content. I will review it and send you a quote shortly. Please note that I need to see the document in full in order to give you a quote. Since a copy of the original document is included in the final translation package, please make sure the scanned copy of your document is of the highest quality possible.

The turnaround time usually depends on the length, volume and complexity of the document to be translated. For up to three (3) standard-length certificates, it takes anywhere between a few hours to 1 business day to prepare the final translation package.

As a certified translator, I certify my translation with a Translator's Declaration, attesting the accuracy of the translation, and the ATIO or STIBC stamp on each page of the translation package. My ATIO/STIBC stamp is recognized and accepted across Canada for most governmental, immigration and legal purposes.

As a certified translator, I can only certify translations I have done myself. If you have your own translation or translation done by someone else, you can send it to me as reference.

Yes! The ATIO (Association of Translators and Interpreters in Ontario) and the STIBC (Society of Translators and Interpreters of BC) are member associations of CTTIC (Canadian Translators, Terminologists, Interpreters Council), which is a national body. My ATIO/STIBC stamp are recognized and accepted by IRCC, CRA, as well as other government agencies across Canada for most legal and governmental purposes. You may receive translation either online or by mail.

No, I only offer translation services (written documents). I do not provide interpretation (spoken language) services at this time.
